wksbullet.sln for VB8 it wont open--> Demos Wont Run At All

I recently downloaded Bullet and its my first physics engine I ever used.
Im trying to run the demos so that I can play with the code, but when I try to open the wksbullet.sln for VB8 it wont open- i get the following error:
"Project file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\bullet-2.7.1\msvc\8\appAllBulletDemos.vcproj' could not be loaded. The project is either missing from disk or access was denied."

Im using a student version of Visual Studio 2005.
