Currently, I am facing severe problem of tunneling in a racing game. I have used btRaycastvehicle. But, by increasing the speed or even at low speed while cornering , the vehicle goes out of the boundary which is static convex shape. On your advice in one your posts, I have also tried clamping ccd motion by setting the threshold. But, it does not solve the bug, significantly. On further, study and en-query, I came to know that bulletphysics generate only one contact point in narrowphase as compared to Havok which generates 4 contact points. And hence the tunneling bug is not there in Havok. If this is true, please let me know, how and where , can I modify the bullet to make it generate more contact points to prevent tunneling.
Please, advice me as soon as possible.
