Hi,

Thanks everyone for making 2009 a very succesful year for Bullet. It was a lot of fun working with everyone.

For 2010 we have some exciting plans towards Bullet 3.x with support for OpenCL acceleration, binary serialization in a new .bullet file format with improved authoring tools and improved compatibility with Sony PlayStation 3 and other platforms. We plan a new Bullet 2.76 release for January 2010. In the meanwhile please check out the latest bullet-trunk.zip, it contains some useful bugfixes to Bullet 2.75:

Happy holidays!
Erwin

There is also our gamekit project, based on Bullet, Ogre 1.7 trunk, Irrlicht 1.6, LUA and extracting all information directly from .blend files

Hi there. I'd like to ask if there is any ETA on bullet 3.0 ? I'm keen to start working with bullet (I've got some physx experience, already), but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to learn 2.76 if the API is going to change, isn't it ?
