Hi Bullet community!!

This message has been posted in Ogre3D forums, but Bullet is just as important for our project as Ogre3D, so we wanted you to know too :wink:

We are developing a game using Ogre3D and Bullet. We have submitted the game to the IndieCade and we will try with the IGF too. So we have now the first captures and video and we want to share them with you because you make our game a reality

Our game was conceived as a physics based action game in which you can move around just using physics and interact with the world in a physical way.

Right now we have a physics based 3D space shooter. In the game, you move a space ship in an open universe (infinite, by the way) using its own propellers, that apply a force at the point they are attached to the ship. Enemies move applying forces too and projectiles and asteroids are physical objects to interact with. What you will feel while playing is a fluent game as no one you have seen before, because everything is physically simulated by the physical engine.

We have decided to make a game without text and without interface to promote experimentation and increase the immersion in the hostile universe we are creating for the experience. The result is a coherent world where to live an adventure on your own and discover a story placed in a new and strange universe.

There is a split screen mode for two player battles. You can see it on the last screenshot.

It is difficult to understand the game without playing it because the experience is somewhat new but we don't plan to release a demo yet. The graphics should be improved sometime, but we are just two programmers and...
